The ten words this site uses
Everything else is said in plain English. These are the words you will meet in AssetWRX.
- asset
- Anything you are responsible for keeping safe and working: a door, a boiler, a lift, a van, a room.
- label
- The QR sticker on the asset. Scanning it opens that asset and nothing else.
- request
- A fault or a need that someone has reported. You approve it, decline it, or ask for more.
- inspection
- A check, run from a checklist, with Pass, Fail or N/A on each item.
- job
- A piece of work given to a named person or contractor, with a date.
- report
- The written record of one check or one job, built from what was recorded and signed by a person.
- record
- Everything that has ever happened to one asset, on one page: checks, jobs, documents, photos.
- template
- A checklist you start from. Ours, or your own.
- site
- Optional. A building, a yard, a depot or a floor, when you want your assets grouped by place.
- team
- The people who look after a site or a group of assets, and what each of them may do.
